P K Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Saturday highlighted the government’s commitment to reforms, citing initiatives such as the Rs 1 lakh crore Anusandhan National Research Fund and the IndiaAI Mission.

Addressing the convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai, Mishra emphasized India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”

Mishra noted that India has become the third-largest startup ecosystem globally, with over 100 unicorns and 1.9 lakh startups.

He emphasized the transformative impact of Mission Karmayogi, which has redefined governance through capacity building and ethical leadership. The iGOT Karmayogi platform has hosted over 3,300 courses, serving 1.3 crore users.

Mishra highlighted the strategic shift in personnel management since 2014, aimed at building a 21st-century civil service. The Multi-Source Feedback system has widened the talent pool, ensuring fair and objective selections.

“India is progressing with courage and confidence under the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, driven by the mantra of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’,” Mishra said asserting: “Teamwork is probably much more important than individual brilliance.”
“India today is not just talking about change. We are proving it – through speed, scale, and purpose,” he claimed.

IIM Mumbai has risen to 6th rank among India’s leading IIMs. The institute has achieved 100 percent placements for its students, with top organizations offering prestigious roles across diverse sectors.
